From the globally popular TV show “RuPaul's Drag Race,” to the Olympics catching everyone’s eye, different gender groups have been shining brightly on the screen. However, once returning to one’s everyday life, being called a “handsome boy” or a “beautiful girl” when buying breakfast, or being referred to as either “Mr.” or “Miss” during a health check-up, together with all the other gender-binary practices prevalent in our society, seem to remain as a filter that everyone automatically adopts. A monotonous framework with just men and women has been applied to everything in our surroundings. 

Gender is and should be a diverse and colorful concept. Therefore, let us march. Let us bravely and firmly show our true selves to challenge all gender stereotypes. Let us be our truest selves and fight back with pride when facing spites and attacks. 

Perhaps you have been on this journey all by yourself. But please believe that you are not alone. If you have harvested any strength from the community, please stay and share this strength with others. Perhaps this world is not yet perfect, but as long as we are willing to stay together, and as long as enough people take the step to challenge gender boundaries and continue to move forward, we will someday arrive at a brighter and freer future.
