1. Is Taiwan a transgender-friendly country?
Overall, Taiwan is an LGBTQ+-friendly country.
Most people will make you feel safe and respected.
However, public understanding of transgender issues still needs improvement.
**Some nightclubs may refuse entry to transgender people or charge based on the sex assigned at birth.
台灣是個對跨性別友善的國家嗎？
台灣整體是對LGBTQ+友善的國家，大多數人會讓你覺得安全、被尊重。不過大眾對跨性別議題的認識還有進步的空間。
**據我們了解，有些夜店可能會拒絕跨性別者入場，或依出生指定性別收費。
2. Can I bring my gender-affirming hormone therapy (GAHT) medication into Taiwan?
Yes, you can bring your GAHT medication into Taiwan, but there are limits:
Without a prescription: up to 2 months of medication.
With a prescription: up to 6 months.
Over 6 months: an online application is required. More info (Taiwan FDA)
我可以自己帶性別肯認荷爾蒙治療藥物進來台灣嗎？
可以，但數量有限制。
無處方證明時，藥物數量最多只能攜帶兩個月的份量。
有處方證明時，可攜帶不超過六個月的份量。超過六個月則須事先線上申請。
3. Can I see a doctor and get GAHT in Taiwan?
Yes, you can visit a doctor and get GAHT medication even without Taiwan's health insurance.
Bring your prescription and discuss it with the doctor. In Taiwan:

4. Can I buy GAHT medication or syringes at a pharmacy in Taiwan?
We recommend visiting a doctor for GAHT medication.
However, you can buy syringes and needles at a local pharmacy without a prescription.
可以在台灣藥局買到荷爾蒙治療藥物或針具嗎？
藥物建議仍透過醫師取得。但針頭和針筒可以在藥局直接購買，不需要處方。
